Here’s How to Donate Books

Your book donations help Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries support our library system and its programs and activities for everyone. The Friends welcome your gently used books for our book sales.

Book Donations

The Friends welcome your gently used books for our book sales. We accept books in good condition including fiction, nonfiction, textbooks, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks.

Dictionaries, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, and magazines cannot be accepted.

Book Cart Locations

Branches at Felton, Scotts Valley, Branciforte, and Aptos host books for sale in their lobbies.
