Judith Calson’s “How I See The Light” exhibition is on display at the Branciforte Library through the end of February. “After a 30 year career in photojournalism, working for three major Bay Area newspapers, I retired and put aside my 35 millimeter cameras and lenses — but I couldn’t stop seeing photos everywhere” she said. “I picked up my iPhone and kept on shooting, this time images that brought me joy. Though in more recent years I have moved on to encaustic art (incorporating my photos into wax), painting and other mediums, I am still at core a photographer. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do.”
