Our Friends Chapter meets quarterly on Saturday mornings in the Ow Community Room at the Capitola Branch Library. We always welcome new members, please attend our next meeting. Follow the branch calendar for updates on upcoming events and activities.

Friends of the Capitola Library Bookstore

The Capitola Library Friends proudly operate a volunteer-run bookstore in the Capitola Mall. Our shop offers a wide selection of gently used books in every genre, as well as CDs, DVDs, puzzles, games, and other treasures. Every purchase supports programs, materials, and services at the Capitola Branch Library.

Donations Welcome
The Capitola Library Friends Bookstore gladly accepts donations of books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, and games in good condition. We’re unable to use magazines, audio cassettes, or tapes. Foreign language books are especially appreciated! You may drop off a grocery bag or two of donations directly at the bookstore. For larger donations, please contact us at friendsofthecapitolalibrary@gmail.com to arrange a convenient home pickup.
