I have lived in Santa Cruz city for 52 years. But I have a long association with the area since childhood. My great-grandparents used to live here and I went to the early grades in Watsonville. I have served on the local ACLU board as well as on the board of Santa Cruz Planned Parenthood board. SCPP Merged 20 years ago with Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, the largest Planned Parenthood affiliate in the United States affiliate in the U.S. I have been politically active for many years with the Democratic Women’s Club of Santa Cruz. I also served on the Santa Cruz County Democratic Party committee for 22 years and have worked in many local campaigns. For fun these days I spend a lot of time with friends. I do a lot of reading and and I try to do some little bit of good in the world when I see an opportunity.
