Robin Holland brings decades of creative, marketing, and entrepreneurial experience to her work with the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries. Her career has included roles at San Francisco advertising agencies, Gary Fisher Bicycles, and Lucasfilm Games, before co-founding Totally Games, an independent studio that created award-winning titles for publishers including LucasArts, Activision, and Disney.
Today, Robin leads The Refinery, where she partners with people to move important work forward. Through focused one-on-one sessions, she helps clients bring clarity to business ideas, messaging, creative work, and other projects that deserve thoughtful attention.
A long-time advocate for literacy, public access, and community connection, Robin serves on the Friends board. She supports the Downtown Library & Affordable Housing Project and ongoing efforts to strengthen the Friends organization, its relationships, and its role throughout Santa Cruz County.
A lifelong reader, Robin finds inspiration in libraries, quiet corners, and sustained attention—whether through books, learning French, or taking long walks in beautiful places.
