Debby is a retired semiconductor Manufacturing Manager who has had a variety of careers. These include high school teacher, semiconductor specialist, technician, supervisor and then manager. After retiring from Texas Instruments, “retirement careers” included sales in a local trophy shop and in women’s clothing. Growing up in a lower middle class household brought home the importance of free access to books, nature and learning for all. Libraries, parks and beaches have always been favored places to explore, learn and relax. Giving back to the community is a key value and participation on the board of directors for both Santa Cruz Public Libraries and Aptos Branch Library supports that goal, while having fun!
