Welcome to Felton Library Friends, a volunteer team dedicated to enriching the Felton Library and Discovery Park. We champion library collections, services, facility upgrades, and programs for the library and park. This unique combination of library and park offers an exceptional integration of indoor/outdoor learning, connection and enjoyment.
Our mission supports staff, materials, and community events, fostering a love for learning and nature. Through advocacy, fundraising, and collaboration with Santa Cruz Public Libraries and County Parks, we help ensure that these vital resources thrive.

Volunteer
Support the Felton Branch Library by helping with Friends’ events. In addition, Friends volunteer at the Discovery Park four mornings a year. Contact us at feltonlibraryfriends@gmail.com to learn more and join our dedicated group of volunteers - your friends and neighbors! Friends’ meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 3:30.

Discovery Park
The Felton Discovery Park adjacent to the Felton Library fosters learning and connection. The 2-acre park features creek restoration, an interpretive nature trail, pollinator gardens, and interactive areas like a stage, amphitheater, and nature play zone.
Designed with community input, it promotes environmental education and collaboration with local organizations, supported by the Felton Library Friends through fundraising and volunteering.
