Lynn is a retired attorney. She has had many leadership roles while practicing law. Her most recent position was Vice President of Intellectual Property at Codexis, Inc. a biotechnology company focusing on enzyme and protein engineering for pharmaceuticals and green technology. Prior to her legal career, Lynn was an Assistant Professor in the Plant Science Department at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. Lynn believes that giving back to her community is an important goal and throughout her career she has volunteered in a number of different capacities including being a dedicated CASA volunteer for five years. Lynn is committed to encouraging Diversity, Equity, Inclusion goals for the Friends.
Lynn serves as Secretary of the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries.
