Stephen grew up in Morgan Hill, CA, where his love of libraries was fostered by his mother, Susan Silveira. His family now lives and thrives in Santa Cruz and enjoys the amazing library system. He is an Operations Expert, adept at developing leaders and building operational excellence in huge tech companies and high-growth startups. Currently COO for an innovative startup enabling nonprofit leaders to evolve and execute their missions with AI. Previously has held leadership roles at Meta and Salesforce, and was once a Consultant at Accenture. Stephen is also a certified Executive Coach, experienced in fostering growth and success across a diverse matrix of clients and situations. Volunteering is a core aspect of his life, and he is proud to work with and support the Friends of the SC Public Libraries as well as Grey Bears, the United Veterans Council of SC, and Save Our Shores.
