Everyone is invited to celebrate Nana Montgomery’s work at her art reception at Garfield Park Library on Thursday March 5, 2026 from 3-5 pm. The artist will also give a talk and answer questions about her process of quilt making. Light refreshments will be served.
“Working with fabric is my passion and inspiration comes from everywhere. I’m especially inspired by the natural world, and also my internal world. I love the process and tactility of combining fabric, paintand other materials to create my mixed-media art quilts. I’m seeking to expand the notion of what makes a quilt, incorporating a more contemporary approach to subject matter and materials.” – Nana Montgomery
The exhibit runs through May 10, 2026.
