Joey is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of California who began his professional career in 2009 at Ernst & Young, an accounting firm, and has worked at many public and private equity companies since then in finance and accounting roles of increasing responsibility.
Outside of his professional career, he is also a volunteer at American Red Cross, where he works in Disaster Services, primarily in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito Counties. He is also a volunteer as part of Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), a nonprofit organization devoted to disaster preparedness and disaster response, where he serves as a registered Disaster Service Worker in Santa Cruz County.
