The Felton Branch Library, hosted by the Felton Library Friends, is pleased to present a new exhibit of paintings by local artist Sarah Orre, on display now through September.
Sarah is a painter and art instructor and founder of Community Through Art in Felton. She teaches classes for both adults and young artists. Sarah grew up in the San Lorenzo Valley and now lives there with her husband and three daughters — a landscape that continues to shape her work. Drawn to the beauty of the Santa Cruz Mountains, from the rugged California coastline to the towering redwood forests, Sarah finds endless inspiration close to home.
A true jack-of-all-trades, Sarah works across oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, and mixed media, and her paintings are known for their vibrant color and expressive energy. As a lifelong student, teacher, and art enthusiast, she brings a growth mindset to everything she creates and teaches, encouraging her students to explore their own artistic voice.
