There’s no better way to spend a summer Saturday than with a good book in one hand and a cold local brew in the other — and on Saturday, August 1, La Selva Beach delivers both.
The Books & Brews La Selva Beach Summer Fair takes over the La Selva Beach Clubhouse Lawn (314 Estrella, LSB) from 10 am to 4 pm, bringing together fifty craft vendors, a massive used book sale, live music, craft beer, and some of the area’s favorite food trucks. Best of all? Admission is free.
Shop Local, Shop Handmade
Fifty unique arts and crafts booths will line the lawn, offering handmade jewelry, original art, bags, pottery, garden art, specialty foods, soaps, clothing, books, and much more. Whether you’re hunting for a one-of-a-kind gift or a treat for yourself, you’ll find something made with care by local artisans.
A Book Lover’s Paradise
The Selva Beach Library Friends Used Book Sale will fill the courtyard with books for all ages and interests — fiction, nonfiction, kids’ books, cookbooks, and everything in between. Come early and bring a bag; treasures go fast.
Sweets, Prizes, and Community Spirit
The Library’s Advisory Council of Teens will host a Bake Sale and a Prize Raffle featuring crafts generously donated by fair vendors. It’s a delicious way to support young leaders in our community — and maybe walk away with something special.
Brews, Bites, and Live Music
Sip local microbrews on tap while you relax on the lawn and enjoy live music from The Troubledoors and That Country Feeling Band. When hunger strikes, local food trucks Tacos el Jesse and S&B Burgers will be serving up street food favorites all day long.
