Melissa Lin

Melisa Lin is a strategic operations and business development leader, and former serial entrepreneur. She is most well-known for building Nommery in San Francisco; the social tech platform gathered like-minded people to meet new friends, network and date. She also founded a vertically-integrated flower farm and florist business in Santa Cruz, and co-founded the Berkeley Student Food Collective while earning her B.S. in Conservation & Resource Studies at UC Berkeley.

An accomplished violinist, Melisa toured Europe with the Stanford Symphony and served as the Concert Master of the Mill Valley Philharmonic during their performance in the Davies Symphony Hall.

She attends programming at all ten branches of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries and has enjoyed Santa Cruz’s stunning natural scenery with her family and friends since 2013. Having benefited from libraries throughout her life, Melisa is thrilled to help connect our greater community with all our beautiful new libraries.
