A celebration of textile artistry in the San Lorenzo Valley
The Boulder Creek Branch Library is proud to welcome the SLV Quilters for a stunning summer exhibition running from June through the end of August. Drawn from the talented hands of artists across the San Lorenzo Valley this show is a rare opportunity to experience the depth, skill, and creativity that lives right here in this mountain community.
Quilts will be displayed throughout the library’s large conference room and across the main area, creating an immersive gallery experience woven into the everyday fabric of this beloved community space. Whether you’re a longtime quilt enthusiast or simply curious, this exhibit invites everyone to slow down and take in the artistry on display.
Join Us for the Opening Reception
The exhibit kicks off with a festive opening reception on Saturday, June 6th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The library will be serving light refreshments, and quilters themselves will be on hand to share the stories behind their pieces. Come meet the makers, admire their work up close, and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the Boulder Creek Library.

The SLV Quilters are a vibrant community of fiber artists from across the San Lorenzo Valley. Their work spans a rich range of techniques, traditions, and personal expression — from traditional patchwork and appliqué to contemporary art quilts and quilted objects. This exhibition represents months of dedication, creativity, and craftsmanship from artists who are your neighbors, friends, and fellow community members.
